Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
The Cavalier has a silky coat which should appear natural and flowing. The coat requires little trimming for the show ring.
Recommended time between trims: 8 - 12 weeks
Cocker Spaniel
The cocker spaniel has a silky coat which is hand stripped for the show ring but is often clipped into a similar style or shorter for the majority of those kept as pets. Feet are trimmed to give a cat like appearance and the feathering on the legs should appear natural and flowing.
Recommended time between trims: 8 - 12 weeks
English Springer Spaniel and Field Spaniel
A silky coat which should be hand stripped for showing purposes, otherwise the coat may be clipped into style. As with the Cocker Spaniel , the overall look should be natural and flowing.
