The poodle has a wool coat which can be clipped into a variety of styles , the most popular being the lion lamb trim and the sports clip.
The coat does not moult and the breed is therefore a popular choice for allergy sufferers.
The coat requires specific brushing and drying techniques in order to maintain condition and avoid knots and tangle forming.
Recommended time between trims: 4 - 6 weeks
