The ‘Newfie’ is a giant breed with a thick double coat.
The breed requires regular grooming to remove the dead undercoat and keep the coat knot free and in good condition.
Here at Woof n Wash we specialise in the grooming and preparation of the breed for the show ring.
The coat requires some slight trimming to create a neat, balanced and natural look.
Recommended time between trims: 12 weeks
Nicole has three Newfoundland's; Phoebe, Ted and Digby, and knows the breed well to help you get the best out of the grooming experience.
Ted came 3rd in his class at Crufts in 2008 and Digby is about to start his show career, so feel free to ask Nicole any questions about grooming this breed for the show ring.
